Ronald Johns

from Kittanning, PA

Hi! My name is Ron Johns from Kittanning, PA. I've been leased to Greatwide ATF for 18+ years. I've been all over the country; been a good living. Looking forward to trucking and camping for a long time to come !!!!!!

Harold Henry

from Columbus, TX

I'm Harold, a seasoned flatbed trucker who embarked on his journey in 1981 in the heart of Texas. With a total of 3,000,000 miles driven, I take pride in my extensive experience within the trucking industry. Joining Greatwide in 2021 marked a significant milestone, and being recognized as the top earning driver in 2023 by my agency was a highlight of my career. I find contentment in my partnership with this company and aim to continue driving for another decade before I retire.

Josh Disque

from Chattanooga, TN

My name is Josh Disque and I have been driving since February of 2001, marking a 23-year journey in the world of trucking. In September of 2018, I joined Greatwide, where I found a great and supportive team. I purchased my first truck in the same year I joined Greatwide, and recently upgraded to a new 2024 Western Star. I’m from Maryland, but recently relocated to Tennessee. I’m accompanied on my journeys by my two co-pilots, Scrappy and Storm, my beloved pups. Beyond the miles, I love all things dogs, making new friends wherever the truck takes me, and keeping busy on the road. I appreciate the support I receive from the Greatwide team, especially Laura, Neil, Madison & Nicole for their continued support. I’d also like to thank the BWY team in Chattanooga for their support and for being like a second family to me. I thank you all for the opportunity and look forward to many more years of being a part of this team!

Edwin Zuniga

from El Paso, Texas

My name is Edwin. I’ve been trucking for 20 years, hauling dry-van, flatbed and expedited loads. I am now hauling for Greatwide and grateful to have found a company that allows me to work with a small group. James and Michelle are great people to work with. They keep me busy throughout the year and I get plenty of home time.

Thank you again, Greatwide, James and Michelle for all your support!

Keith Mackey

from North Charleston, SC

My name is Keith Mackey. I am from North Charleston, SC and I’ve been working with Tybo Transportation/Greatwide for over 10 years. It has been a great experience working with such a great staff in our local office here in Charleston, as well as with the corporate office staff. Everyone works together well as a team and is very attentive to all of the drivers’ needs and concerns. I appreciate the opportunity of working with you
all and thanks for the nomination for Driver of the Month.

Heaven Pitts

Hi, my name is Heaven Pitts. I am a 31-year-old from Ohio. I started my life as an OTR driver out of training in early 2019. I’ve always been a free spirit and wanted a career I would love, as well as travel. I found both in trucking, along with some amazing friends. I have been with BWY Transport Inc, an agent of Greatwide since January of 2020. Between the two companies, I couldn’t ask for two better to work for. I will forever pass them along to drivers. They always go above and beyond to make sure my needs are met and trust me, I can be quite ridiculous. Although I’m on the road a lot, I am never alone. I travel with my 3-year-old Chihuahua, Beau and 2-year-old Pitbull, Odin. They’ve been on the truck since babies. They are true truck dogs. When I’m not driving, you can usually find me with my boys, reading
or doing homework. Recently, I went back to college to become a certified diesel mechanic. If I can drive it, I should be able to fix it, right? I can’t thank you enough for this!  Stay safe drivers and keep the shiny side UP!

Jose Alvarado

from Tornillo, TX

I’m Jose Alvarado and I’ve been driving for over 30 years. I’ve pulled reefers, dry vans, tankers and everything in between. Nine of those years I’ve been with the Greatwide system with 7 years pulling for James and Michelle out of El Paso, Texas. They are good people to work with. On my time off, I like to spend time with my kids and granddaughter.

Terrance Thomas

from Jacksonville, FL

Hi, my name is Terrance! I found my love of driving from my dad and learned to drive semi-trucks from and older cousin. I started driving trucks in 1992 and became an owner/operator in 1994. I started driving under agent Yazmar “Yzy” Nunez over 25 years ago. I learned the business of trucking from Yzy and miss her dearly. It has been a pleasure to drive for Greatwide which helped me to raise my four
boys. I look forward to my continued relationship with Greatwide.

My wife and I are newlyweds and will celebrate our 1-year anniversary in August. We have seven children and three grandchildren.

Chuck Nicholson

from Paris, TX

Hi, my name is Chuck. I started driving a little over 10 years ago. I started with Pam & Swift for training, then ended up with JB Hunt for a while, as both a company & lease operator. I then did some tanker work hauling milk. I took a break from trucking and went back to welding awhile, then missed the road. I went back to JB Hunt as a lease operator, but wanted more freedom. That's when I decided to get my own truck and have been with Greatwide ever since; with almost all of my tenor with Ian and his group.

P.S. My best friend & sidekick is named Sandy. I saved Sandy about 3 years ago. While saving her, she changed my life for the better. I couldn’t imagine a moment without Sandy.

James Murphy

from Grandview, IN

My name is Jim Murphy and I live in Grandview, IN. I have been driving truck for 28 years. I have been with my Greatwide agent for 23 years. Hopefully, I will have many more years with them.

John Mitchell

from Summerville, GA

Hello all, my name is John Mitchell from Summerville GA. I have been driving a long time. I cannot tell you that Greatwide is a perfect company, but I have been driving for them over 20 years. So, I would say that I am very happy with them. Thanks for the opportunity!

Randy Johnson

from Lorain, OH

Hello my name is Randy Johnson.

I have been driving truck over 25 years, with 16 of those years being with Greatwide Cheetah Transportation. I appreciate all of the support that Greatwide Cheetah has and continues to provided over the years.

Also, I  want to say Thank You for this recognition.

Jose Cruz

from Marlborough, MA

Hi, my name is Jose Cruz. I am 55 years old, as well as a husband and father to three daughters. I have been in the truck business for approximately 23 years and at Greatwide for 15 years. I would like to thank everyone at Greatwide for all their support and for this nomination!

Gerren Phillips

from Pickens, MS

Hi, my name is Gerren Phillips. I'm 32 years old from Pickens, MS. I've been in trucking for 10 years and worked for Greatwide 10 months of that ten years. Greatwide and my dispatch team have made this a great experience for me here.

Patrick Wilson

from Bootheel, MO

My name is Patrick Wilson. I’ve been with Greatwide since June of 2021. I’m based out of the Bootheel area of Missouri. I got my CDL when I turned 21 and became an owner operator in 2019. Huge shoutout to my homies Greg and Matt for all the long conversations we have to keep each other entertained out on the road!

Karen Hillen

from Little Summit, PA

Hi, my name is Karen Hillen. I'm from Little Summit, PA. I've been driving truck for 31 years, the last 14 with Greatwide. I've been with my agent Brandi at GRC for over 16 years. I followed her and her dad Russ from our previous company. I told her many years ago GRC & Greatwide will be the company I retire from. A BIG thank you to both companies for hanging with me through my rough times. You're just like family. I enjoy my home time to be with my family and working for this company makes that possible. God bless you all and stay safe.

Carl Grills

Anthony, FL

Hi, my name is Carl Grills. I started driving truck in 1989 when I was 19. I am now 52 years old and I have been with the company since 1996. I am grateful for the years of opportunity this company has given me.

Myles Shafer

from El Paso, TX

My name is Myles Shafer. I am 34. I started driving wheat trucks when I was 15 and have been OTR for the last 9 years. I have been with Greatwide for 5 years now. I'm based out of El Paso, Texas with my agents James and Michelle, who keep me busy running the contiguous 48. A big thanks to them and my fellow drivers Jose and Edwin who have helped me as an owner op more than I've ever helped them. Greatwide, as a company, has given me the opportunity to work with a small group of people, while benefitting from the Evans national network. It's the ideal situation for me and I am truly grateful.

Russell James

Florence, SC

Hi, my name is Russell James. I’m 30 years old and I’ve been driving trucks 9 years now. I’ve been driving for Greatwide about 5 months now out of those 9 years and I’m extremely satisfied with Greatwide and my Dispatch for keeping the wheels turning. Thanks to you all!

Scott Rainey

from Alabama

Hi, my name is Scott Rainey and I live near Huntsville, AL. I've been trucking for 25 years and I'm proud to say that Greatwide has been my home for the last 2.5 years. My dad, aka "Bigfoot" retired after 40+ years on the road, so I'm just trying to make him proud!  When I'm not behind the wheel of my "Tupperware Torpedo", I like tinkering with cars, playing guitar and most importantly, spending time with my amazing family. My trophy wife and I have been married for 23 years and we have 3 kids that we don't dislike.  It goes without saying that trucking is hard on a family, but my crew has always had my back. Love 'em!

Speaking of having my back, this bio wouldn't be complete without a shout-out to my awesome agents, J&D Logistics! Jeff and Debbi, along with Ashley, Denise and Frank are the best team I've ever worked with in the industry, hands down!

I'm truly honored to have been selected as driver of the month by Greatwide!
This is a great company with great people!

Y'all keep the shiny side up!

Samuel Layne

Amanda, OH

Hi, my name is Sam Layne. I have been trucking since ’82 and have been with Greatwide since 2018. I have four children and 10 grandchildren. I’m originally from Portsmouth, OH and have been in Ohio my whole life. In my free time, I like to go fishing and hunting! My agent, Lari, is great and always does a good job for me. Thank you for the nomination!

Daron Tarver

Rossville, GA

Darron started driving school in 2008 after working two jobs to support six children – YES, you heard that, six children. Darron has three children of his own but he helped raise three other children in his extended family who would have gone to foster care had he not stepped in. Darron has always been a hard worker and was determined to provide for these children through earned income. He had been working for Mohawk Industries in GA and started a second job at Aquafil. He was laid off from both jobs in 2008, but then landed a wonderful opportunity. That wonderful opportunity came from Braum’s College, as a scholarship work program to attend Driving School in Forsythe, GA. Darron was the only one to graduate on the actual week of graduation. For the next year, Darron went on to drive in Ohio, but had to leave trucking for a couple of years. He returned home to take local jobs to help his teenage daughter through a rough patch. He was determined to do what needed to be done to get her back on track…and he did! When Darron returned to the trucking world in 2011, he drove for CFI trucking and then Crete, but fortunately landed in what we plan to be his last home, driving with the BWY Transport Inc family, agent for Greatwide. Darron has been with BWY over 5 years. We asked Darron what made him want to start driving and he said, “My mom told me, when I was a kid, I didn’t pick out hot cars off the road like many young boys do, I used to pick the big trucks and say, ‘That’s my truck!’” Now he is burning up the road in the Big Trucks!

Fredrick Reid

Richmond, VA

Hi, my name is Fredrick Reid. I'm from Richmond, VA and I've been driving trucks for over 30 years. Thanks to my friends Lari Uncapher and Michael Kiviat (AKA: the best agents ever). I've been with Greatwide since 2013. I've been married 20 years to the best wife, mother and friend in the world. I have two kids, a son in the military and daughter who's on her way to college. Since joining Greatwide (the best company ever), I've been able to give my family and myself a decent and rewarding life. With God, all things are possible. Stay safe.

Adrian Hernandez

Fort Worth, TX

My name is Adrian Hernandez and I am 29 years old. I am from Fort Worth, married and have a 7-year-old boy. I have been driving for 8 years now and have been with Greatwide for about 3 years. My dispatch is helpful and always accommodates my needs; great guys to work with. I appreciate everything Greatwide has done for me. It's a great company to work for.

David Rodriguez

Los Angeles, CA

Hi!! my name is David Rodriguez. I am 37 years old and I live in Los Angeles, CA. I've been married to my high school sweetheart for 16 years. We have a wonderful boy. I been driving for about 8 years now and working with Greatwide for about 4 years as an owner operator. Becoming an owner operator was one of the best decisions I have made in my life. I like working with Faye and Javier. Shout-out to them...they are awesome! Thanks for all the support and thanks Greatwide for the recognition.

Brian Hamilton

Brazil, IN

Hello! My name is Brian Hamilton. I’ve been Truck Driver for 27 years. My father William (Bill) Hamilton was a truck driver. He motivated and mentored me to be a truck driver. I never dreamed I’d be driving this long, but I never get tired of the scenery, new people I meet and new places to discover. I’ve driven through 47 of our beautiful states, Maine being the last of the mainland states for me to drive through. Out of all the places been, the one place I’d like to see is Mt. Rushmore. I’ll get there someday. My advice to new drivers is to stay rested and always be on alert. I would like to thank the good people at Greatwide for this honor. A special thanks to Jack & Susie Spears and Mark Smith for all their hard work and assistance throughout the years.

Debbi Ellsworth

Lake Butler, FL

I'm Debbi Ellsworth and I've been an owner operator contracted to Greatwide for almost 4 years! I couldn't ask for a more supportive company. I'll be 60 in a few months, have 3 children and 8 grandchildren (10 months to 21 years old!!). I started late in this industry, got my CDL in 2007 and teamed with my late husband for a year. I went solo in 2008 when he decided to go local. After he passed in 2011, I decided to buy a truck. Oh boy, let the games begin, lol. I rescued my co-driver, Chico, in 2016 and it has just been the two of us ever since. Tom Barko and Theresa McAdams have been fantastic and Theresa keeps me moving...as well as puts up with me!! Thank you to whomever nominated me for this. I am humbled.

Richard Bouch

Grove City, PA

My name is Dick Bouch and I am from Grove City, PA. I have four sons, a daughter,  daughter-in-law and three beautiful granddaughters. Have been with Dallas and Mavis for over 43 years. I started driving for Wilson Trucking in Richmond, VA in 1976. In July of 1978, I went to work for Dallas and Mavis driving a truck for Blaine Hovis. In May of 1982, I bought my first truck and leased it on with Dallas and Mavis and have been with them through all the owners. Through all the years, the time I appreciate the most is when Mr. Bates paid our accidental insurance for a couple months at the beginning of Covid. I would like to thank Wayne Erickson, Sue Mann and Brian Lowery for all they have helped me with over the years. They are the most honest people I have worked with. Also, I would like to thank Linda for making sure I get paid. In memory of Todd Mullery, I would like to thank him posthumously for all he did for making Greatwide a much better place to work. In closing, I would like to thank whomever thought enough of me to give me this honor. P.S. if you come to my funeral, don’t worry about being on time, someone will have to have one last load delivered to them.

Danny & Tena Dossett

Angola, IN

Hello friends! We're Danny (U.S. Navy Veteran) & Tena Dossett from Angola, IN. Teddy Bear is 9 months old & doing a great job with security. We've been driving team over 14 years, enjoying Greatwide 9 of those years. Our office view is very scenic & challenging with beautiful photo opportunities. Hauling temperature controlled freight keeps us focused & moving. Rich Simpson & his sister Geri keep us moving in the direction we desire with being able to get home when we need to. Greatwide has been very helpful with tires & emergency maintenance repairs. Their "above & beyond" communication skills are appreciated. It's an honor to lease our 2021 Western Star & 2019 Wabash reefer trailer to Greatwide. It's a comfortable fit for the way we choose to run our business.

Ivan Constant

Leominster, MA

I am Ivan Constant and this is my truck, Big Bird. I've been driving for a little more than 30 years. I have been an Owner Operator with Greatwide ATF intermodal with John Giblin and his daughter Bridgett (a Massachusetts Agency). It is nice to work with a company that is actually for the Drivers and will help them when they need it. They have a Wide circle of staff that are Great! I would like to send a shout out to my wife of 30 years; not because I am gone all the time any more, but because I am home all the time now and she puts up with me.

Thank You All,

Ivan Constant

P.S. Also Pam for always checking on us to see if everything is okay...Thanks Pam!

Jake Yoder

Volant, PA

My name is Jake Yoder. I have been with Dallas Mavis for 28 years. Before I started driving, I worked at various jobs. After I started driving in 1978 and saw the money I could make, I never looked back. I worked at a couple of trucking companies before I became an owner operator when I leased on to Dallas Mavis in 1992, which is now Greatwide Dallas Mavis.

I have worked with some great people at Dallas Mavis. The Russ Johns family in Kittaning, PA and Bob and Patty in Cleveland, OH just to name a few…and all the wonderful people in Langhorne. I am also a lifetime member of OOIDA. If you are not a member, you should check it out.

I think about retiring, but I love my job. Over the years, I drove cross country and have seen most of this great United States of America. It's a beautiful country, my friends!! I am mostly working regional and home more now. I enjoy hunting and fishing, but nothing is better than watching Steeler football!!

I'm guessing I have logged over 4 million miles in 43 years. To everyone out there, TRUCK ON!!

Alexis Velez Reyes

Jacksonville, FL

Hello everyone. My name is Alexis Velez Reyes. I am 54 years old and from Puerto Rico. I live in Jacksonville, FL. I’m a father of 4 boys, a set of twins and 1 precious little girl...if you are counting, yes, that is 7 kids! I also have 6 grandchildren. I have been driving for Greatwide for 23+ years now. I've been proud to call Greatwide American Trans-Freight my family. There have been good times and bad ones and GW has been with me through it all. I want to give a shout out to my wife of 25 awesome years, Jadon and to my fellow drivers at our Agency. THANK YOU to all the employees at the Corporate Office in Langhorne, PA. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today - Joe W., Jasper, Mike Smith, Kim DeMarco, Sean and all the women from payroll and settlements - Linda, Chris Tyrell and Kelly Benton. Last, but not least, Chris Botteri.

Ken Hampton

Nancy, KY

Hello, my name is Ken Hampton. I’m a father of three and grandfather of five. I’ve been driving for about ten years - most of those years spent pulling open deck freight, including oversized. I've been with Greatwide the last five years. I would like to thank the people at Greatwide for making it possible and for their support. A special thanks to Laura Maisey and John Thomas in Dispatch. Also a shout out to James Morris down in Sulpher Springs, TX for keeping the truck loaded.

Terry McKay

Ft. Worth, TX

I’m Terry McKay and my trucking companion is Suzy-Q. I have been in the trucking business for 21 years. And in that time, I have a traveled through all lower 48 contiguous US states and I still believe America is beautiful. I will never grow tired of seeing all of the breathtaking views that await us around the next bend in the road. I would like to say thank you to the team at Greatwide for this award. It’s truly an honor to be recognized for doing what I love to do. Most people in our industry know this is a hazardous profession to pursue and not everyone is qualified to do what we do every day while on the road. I readily admit that I would not be where I am today without my personal savior watching over and protecting me these last two decades and it’s only by the grace of God

I’m still here running the nation’s highways. To my fellow truckers, I’d like to say stay alert, be professional and make it home safely. Thank you.

Robert Morookian

Mt. Pleasant, SC

I’m Robert Morookian and my partner is Cooper. When I retired from the corporate world around 15 years ago, I got bored real fast. So, I started from scratch, got my CDL and drove for Swift for a couple of years. I bought a new Freightliner Columbia and found my way to Greatwide. My 1.5 million miles has included power only, van and step deck and I found a home with Tybo Transportation, hauling containers out of Charleston. My time with Greatwide and the folks at Tybo have been nothing less than amazing. I could not ask for a better partnership.

Lloyd Watson

Sabattus, Maine

My name is Lloyd Watson from Sabattus, Maine. I'm an Army veteran and strive to do everything in life to the best of my ability. I've been a professional driver for 25 years and found a true home at Greatwide five years ago. I'm a humble person, so instead of talking about myself, I would like to give thanks. It's been an amazing ride at Greatwide and I truly appreciate everyone within the Greatwide network for all they do. Carlos Toro Manrique, Robert Reynoso and the rest of the staff at Greatwide (too many to mention), thanks for all you do to help us be successful. I would also like to give a special thanks to the New York Agency I spend most my time working with. Debra and Richie Chomicki, thank you for the hard work and long hours to keep me moving over the years. You have always made yourselves available seven day a week, 24 hours a day, including holidays. I would like to thank my family for their love, support and understanding. Being away from one's family is extremely difficult. My thoughts and prayers are with us all during these difficult times. Mask up everyone and stay safe my friends.

Steven Shaw

Las Vegas, NV

My name is Steven Shaw and I live in Las Vegas, NV. I was a Security officer for 20 years and wanted to change my career. I got my CDL to become a professional truck driver and have been driving for 17 plus years. I want to thank God for keeping me safe through the storms and this pandemic. I want to thank Shane Anstice for being there for me from day one and nominating me for this award. I want to thank everyone who made this possible. I'd like to thank Greatwide's staff for doing what they do. I'd like to thank all the agents for keeping me moving. My job turns in to a vacation that never ends, because you have to enjoy what you do. To my fellow drivers: MASK UP and be safe. God bless.

Josh Hanna

Rogers, OH

My name is Josh Hanna. I'm 23, from Eastern Ohio. I started with Greatwide last February. Along with driving, I've been working on overhead cranes with my dad for about 5-6 years. I have always wanted to drive and run heavy equipment, so I got my CDL when I was 19. Over the last two years, I began driving trucks. I bought my truck for hauling frac sand, originally, but work in my area was slowing down. I found Greatwide by accident. While researching other carriers, Greatwide kept coming up. After finding out another carrier I wanted to work with wasn't a good fit, I looked closer at Greatwide and eventually started driving with them. My only regret is that I didn't come here first.

Alvin Palmer

San Antonio, TX

My name is Alvin Palmer and I’m from San Antonio, TX. I’ve been with Greatwide for about 2 1/2 years. I would like to thank my wife, Karen, for dealing with the trucking life. A special thanks to Justin Lancaster, (my Guardian Dispatcher at Greatwide) for going above and beyond to keep me rolling. Thank you, Justin! I would also like to thank Brittany with GRC for being one of the greatest Dispatchers I’ve ever met. Thank you, Brittany! Greatwide has been an awesome experience. I’ve had a chance to move a lot of different kinds of freight and have met a lot of good people along the way. Thanks to everyone who picked me for Driver of the Month. I really appreciate it. To all the drivers...be safe out there!

Ira Hay

Kingsport, TN

My name is Ira Hay. I have had the pleasure of being married to my wife, Leyla, for 31 years after meeting her in Germany. I started driving semi trucks after returning from a 12 year stay in Germany. I started out in the military, but stayed after my service was finished. I came back to the states in 1998 with a wife and 2 kids and was looking for the quickest way to support them and myself. Driving seemed to be the logical choice. I have worked with different companies over the years, but Greatwide has been a standout from day one. From the onboarding process, to the daily hiccups that happen, someone has always been there to help. That means a lot to me. The latest struggle we've all had to deal with is the virus; with all of the complications it puts in front of us. I work with Ian Brown, who I must say, has the best crew and really seems to make an effort to support me. Those guys have all my respect. Greatwide has supported me through both good and bad times on the road. I am very pleased and grateful for the opportunity to work with a company and people that will reward your hard work.

Warren Rice

Siler City, NC

I'm a North Carolina native and have been driving since 1977. During that time, I have hauled just about everything that you could stack on wheels; from watermelons to military tanks (even some things that they wouldn't tell me what was on board). I started during a time when truck drivers were cut from a different cloth; not better, just different. A lady could have a flat tire on the side of the road and a truck driver would stop to help. To the lady, those glowing lights behind her were a welcomed sight; even better than police. We were respected and admired by the public when I first started. Hell, back in those days, songs were written about truckers. I hope to see those days come back. In the meantime, I'm just going to haul for GREATWIDE and try to set an example for younger drivers. Be safe drivers.

Joseph Harbert

Oakland, MD

My name is Joseph Harbert and I've been with Greatwide for a little over 2 years. I actually was able to add a second truck and bring on another driver last year, with the help of GRC and their excellent team. I started driving trucks in 2010 and have loved it ever since. I’m married with 7 kids, 4 of whom still live at home. I want to thank Brandi Minor at GRC and Kandi my dispatcher for all they do to keep my trucks moving and helping me meet my goals. Hoping for many more years with them.

Evron Dixon

Sanford, NC

My name is Evron Dixon and I want to thank Lari Uncapher & Greatwide for the recognition. As many of you know, this profession comes with great sacrifice, so I want to thank my wife for the love and support for 20 years while raising our kids and holding down the home front. I'm very thankful for my family & friends near and far as well. Driving for 28 years has come with many highs and lows, but overall, it’s been a very rewarding experience. I hope to see this industry get back to old times, when camaraderie was sacred amongst drivers. In my down time, I enjoy cooking, hanging out with my family and deep sea fishing. Finally, I want to thank God who has ridden with me all these years and continues to protect and look over me. Drive safely out there and my prayers are with each of you!

Chuck Lewis

St. Buchanan, Michigan

My name is Chuck Lewis and I'm 53 years old. I think the most important thing that keeps me driving like I do is a strong family that understands what it takes to be a OTR driver. I have a loving wife, Traci who knows this because we teamed for 8 years all over the country.  Now she takes care of all our household needs and pets (2 dogs, 3 cats, 2 lizards and a bunch of fish), 3 daughters and 8 grandchildren. I graduated high school in ‘85, joined the U.S. Army and took part in the reactivating of 1st/22nd Driver Support Platoon 10th Mountain Division FT Drum New York. I have been a team member of Aaron McCall’s Greatwide Terminal #815 for the past 10 years. All together I have been driving for 34 years. I would like to say Thank You to my family for their sacrifice, my support team for their hard work and Greatwide for

recognizing my hard work as a driver.

Johnny Pugh

West Columbia, SC

My name is Johnny W. Pugh. All of my truck driving friends call me PEPILUPOU or PEPI. I have been driving 18 wheelers since I was 19 years old (at that time they say I was the youngest person in South Carolina to have a class 3 license...that's what it was called back then). I'm 57 now. I am retired military and I did 1 year in Iraq. I'm a cook, truck driver and come back engineer. I have a wife and son whom I love very much. I been with Greatwide ATF for about 15 years. I think this is a pretty good company and I will most likely will retire from here one day.

John Granger

Muskogee, OK

I live in Muskogee, Oklahoma and have been driving for 19 years. I have been working with a great agent, Robbie. Thanks for all the support!

Rudy M. Nava, Jr.

Sealy, TX

My story began in Bellville, TX, but raised in Sealy, TX. During my senior year of high school, I enrolled in the delayed entry program for the United States Army. After graduation, I completed basic training at Ft. Dix, NJ and advanced individual training at Ft. Eustis, VA. After completing my training, I had the honor of serving with some great brothers and sisters in a couple different units, the 4/11th ACR and the 4/3rd ACR. I defiantly am proud of my military service. After my time in service, I started driving trucks in the oilfield, until the bottom fell out, which a lot of guys scurried around looking for ways to provide for their families. At this time, it led me to this great company that gave me the chance to find my place with this new family. Some of my brothers that I served time with in the oilfield, are also co-workers of mine at this company as well. I don’t see any of the guys I work with as co-workers, I see them as family. That’s the type of atmosphere that Mr. Ray Madden encourages us to follow. As long as I’ve been with Highway Haulers, they have been with Greatwide, which has been a good working partnership. It’s been an honor working for such a great company with great people and there’s so much of a story still to be written. I am a father of 4 children (2 boys & 2 girls) and 2 grandchildren (1 granddaughter & 1 grandson), they are my world. I would do whatever I have to for them. They are my reason waking each and every day and doing what I do. A small passion of mine is photography. My oldest son participates in sports, so on the weekends during his meets, I am able to take pics of him and his teammates, which I totally enjoy doing. A lot of people get to see frozen moments in time that were not able to attend. Thank you again for this honor. I am just a guy that goes to work just like everyone else to do what they can to provide whatever life they can for their family.
